History of Us.

The Khatoon Foundation is the embodiment of the lessons instilled by Kamran Farid’s parents - to use one's success to give back to the world and make a difference. Using the success he has achieved, The Khatoon Foundation is dedicated to funding projects that are meaningful, sustainable, and have a positive impact.

What We Believe.

Inspired by Kamran's mother, the Khatoon Foundation is a vehicle to leave a positive impact on the world, and give back to those who are in need. Since he was a young boy, Kamran’s mother, Salma Farid, had always made sure to raise her children to think of those around them. Whether it was helping locally, working to support the household, or simply being there for each other.

We believe this to be the heart of our values, to help others selflessly, especially when in the position to do so. To help not because you are supposed to, but because you wholeheartedly want to.

  • We are proud to support charities such as Yale School of Medicine St. Jude, The Boys & Girls Club of New Haven, CT One Heart for Women and Children, Paani, ESTHER, A Heart to Give, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, the YMCA of Central FL, and Harbor House.
